The rooms have three beds, which is great for groups or families looking to stay together.

The rooms are new-fashioned and neat, with a mini fridge bar, air conditioner, and a personal safe. The bathroom is spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfy. No reason to complain, a nice experience, will come back.

AMAZING and very friendly/helpful staff. They truly treat you like family and always greet you with a smile. I have never stayed at a hotel where such genuine and kind-hearted individuals work! Also, hotel is close to metro and easily within walking-distance of major attractions.

Very average rooms. My "non-smoking" room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. But they are clean and well-kept.

The rooms were very clean, very quiet, and very adequate- meaning they are exceptional for budget accomodations. The rooms has a good size plasma tv, bathrooms in the rooms, the beds are comfortable. The decorations quite nice. Hotels with the same rating were much higher priced in the same area. The staff were exceptionally nice. The location of the hotel is excellent! A metro station a few yards away, Plaza Mayor and Sol within minutes walking. Restaurants and a theatre just feet away.

I had a really great experience here, everything was excellent, the location was incredible near grocery shop and comfortable and Anton Martin metro. The staff were exceptionally nice people. Television with satellite channels, climate control and a personal safe inside the twin room were handy. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom was good size. No complaints, I really enjoyed the stay and would absolutely stay here again.

The venue was nicely appointed and exceptionally comfortable. I greatly enjoyed the location so close to the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Santa Ana. the hotel's location was perfect, right in the center of the city. I stayed in a nice size and brand-new room with central heating, an electronic key card, and coffee/tea making facilities. Hostal Castilla I Atocha in Madrid offers a comfortable stay with modern amenities in a convenient location close to key landmarks and facilities in the city center.

It was close to the hub of the city and to the friends I was visiting with.

The room I was in was very small. Noise travels easily through the building so sleep was often interrupted as people were up and about during the night. I also heard water running through the pipes every time a shower was on. It was not worth the cost of the room.

The stuff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and quiet, with all the facilities I would ask for. The location was excellent, near subway, store and restaurant.

The rooms may be too small for guys.

the hotel had a central location and it was not too far from plaza del angel. btw, we relaxed by the lake, it was 20 mins walk from the venue.

The hotel has a very good location for people coming from Atocha Renfe. It is located very close to the central squares and the most interesting touristic places. The hotel is very clean. The staff speaks English! They are friendly and very polite!
